John Jay Athletic Facility Upgrades
The Next Phase Is Now
The John Jay Booster Club supports every student in the district, from kindergarten through 12th grade, along with our youth sports partner programs.
Our goal is to support the Athletic Department's mission to make fitness a lifelong habit for every student, introduce the youngest Jays to the game and build athletes who compete with pride and lead with character on and off the field.
Here is what has been completed, what is underway and how Field of Dreams III brings it home.

Tennis Court Upgrades
Cracked and worn court surfaces repaired and restored. The courts are now pickleball capable and already used by students and community members alike.
JJHSField Improvements and Netting
Field improvements and protective netting at Meadow Pond Elementary and John Jay Middle School, creating safer outdoor spaces for soccer, lacrosse, football and other field sports.
Meadow PondJJMSJJMS Fitness Center Expansion and Upgrade
The middle school fitness center has been expanded and outfitted with upgraded equipment. It now supports gym class programming on select days and after-school training for middle school athletes.
JJMSJJHS Gymnasium Transformation
The John Jay Booster Club funded a new video scoreboard and sound system, turning the high school gym into a premier venue for John Jay and Section One events. The Athletic Department completed the transformation with a resurfaced floor, championship and All-State banners and the launch of the John Jay Hall of Fame.

JJHS Fitness Center Full Makeover
A full renovation of the high school fitness center that triples workout capacity so multiple teams and individual athletes can train at the same time, with ADA accessible flooring and an updated equipment layout.

AP Field Turf Replacement
The current turf is 14 years old and has outlasted its expected lifespan. Replacement restores a safe, competitive playing surface for athletes across multiple sports.
AP FarmContest Field Track and Fan Experience Upgrades
The track used year-round by athletes and community members will be fully replaced, along with new ADA compliant walkways connecting the visitor stands and plaza.
Contest FieldGym Floor Resurfacing
Gym floors at John Jay Middle School and Katonah Elementary School will be resurfaced to keep physical education and athletics safe at both buildings.

TRAIN | Two Lighted Wall Ball Training Stations
Two permanent 20' wide by 12' high walls give athletes a dedicated place for skill work outside of organized practice. An expanded hard-surface area and lighting make them usable year-round.
